Article 386: Why President Obama is Wary to help the Libyan Revolutionaries

? Is it USA Interest?

The Monster of Pan-Arabism, not terrorism, may be is threatening the democratic world, these Days. Why?

The threat to USA interests in the long run in the Middle East, I believe, prevented Obama from responding courageously (or at least for humanitarian sake) to the Libyan revolutionaries, which he and most media representatives in USA call them oposition party. I think USA does not like to even imagine the consequences of ousting Qadhafi,or King of Bahrain, or Yemini President. The USA, I believe, does not want to see the nightmare of ousting all Arab leaders in the coming months if Qadhafi lost. Such vision or imagination, may threaten USA interests if the people in the Middle East comes to manage their political freedom to escape domination and dependency. Here why I am observing the USA shift from supporting the Libyan, Bahraini, and Yemini people and cool off such efforts?

The Arabs with a population close to 400 million people, are marching toward Pan-Arabism. What we encounter so far is local revolutionary acts, But if Qadhafi and may be two other soon leaders ousted, the doors for Pan-Arabism will be wide open. Therefore, the USA does not want that monster to come to life. The vision of Jamal Abdul-Naser still threatening USA and almost all dominated Western nations. That is why Obama cools to US military intervention in Libya, as well as he is wary of committing US military forces to help the Libyan "opposition" oust Qadhafi. Obama and some politicians around him, I believe, still have the intention to solve problems in the Middle East through the NOW leaders, who are serving the American circle and serve its interest. This is observed of closing eyes on the Peninsula Shield, by considering it "NOT an invasion". In fact, the White House have in mind that any change in Bahrain may help out Iran somehow. Therefore, they support the Shield of Peninsula.

I believe, if the USA foreign policy shifted to help the people, in whatever way possible to oust the corrupted leaders in the Middle East, people will appreciate and not forget USA role in that regard. But that assumption is far from USA politicians to perceive, because most, I think, are short-sighted in the matter of future prospective for Pan-Arabism. History will tell.
