If their satisfied with you, trust you, and want more information, then they'll click-through and see what you have to offer.

And don't forget your long lost friends: spelling and grammar - don't leave home without them in your articles. At least run the utility that's in most word processors. It's really not necessary to be 100% perfect every time because people are generally forgiving of a few, but never more than a few. The logic is this: people will see all your mistakes, and they'll wonder if you have your act together or if you can be trusted. You can break rules of grammar, but there must be a compelling reason to do it. Generally the safest route is adhering to the rules of English.

Of course you do need to offer solid information in your articles. Still - do not give away all your valuable research, or knowledge. If you try to help people, they generally will notice and that's a good thing. This practice will encourage people to do business with you.

People will not do business with someone who does not provide great content. Sometimes you truly do have to give something to get something.
