Article Marketing Tip - 5 Tips To Help Make Your Article Title Magnetic (draw Them In)

Article Marketing is an extremely powerful tool to any type of marketer

. In today's market place, there are very few free avenues one can take to bring massive exposure to his or her business. Article Marketing is just that and much more. With Article Marketing being as popular as it is today, an author must have article titles that are magnetic and draw people in to even get noticed.

Do your article titles attract new potential customers or do your articles just go unread? Here are five tips to help you create compelling article titles that draw people in and kick start the Article Marketing portion of your business.

1. Include keywords in your title. Make sure you include the keywords you are targeting in the first four words of your title. This will make it much easier for the search engines to find your article when someone is searching for your keywords or topic. The first four words are important. Do not waste them!

2. Do not write too stiffly. You are not writing a textbook, so do not use that style of writing. Loosen up some... have fun when you write. Most people do not want to read stiffly written, boring and stuffy articles. It is okay to have fun and write like you talk. Remember when you write articles you are not back in college in English class again. The English police will not be banging on your door if you have a little fun when you write.

3. End in parenthesis. Get your readers' attention by ending your title in parentheses. This is very effective especially if it is a how-to article. An example would be "How to write your first article (you can do it)." This makes your article title looks different from everyone else's and gets the reader's attention.

4. Short titles do not get it. One or two word titles work great for movies or books but not so for articles. The longer the article title, the better it is as this gives the reader a summary of the article. This makes it more likely the reader will know what the article is about causing them to want to read it.

5. What about a question? Create your titles as if they were asking the question. This can catch the eye of readers that have the same exact question and have always wanted to ask it. Some great examples are "How do I...?" Or "Why can't I...?" This will draw the reader in to the conversation of the article. If you can hold the reader's attention long enough to get them into the conversation of the article, they are more likely to read the article to the very end.
