Just because you're out of school doesn't mean that your writing is perfect. Having bad writing peer reviewed can show you what about your writing is working and what isn't.

Practice makes perfect. Practices in writing as often as possible then review your own writing for examples of bad prose. Learn to eliminate these bad entries. The more you practice, the better a writer you will learn how to be.

Just because something is badly written does not mean it has to stay that way. With a little love and attention, any writer can take a terrible piece of prose and turn it into a beautiful work of art.
