Article Submission For Back Links And Seo

Article submission is obviously a massive tool when it comes to upping your SEO in

your attempt to climb up the google rankings and heighten your page rank. Does it help? Well, I haven't been doing it for very long but one thing is for sure it'll build your back links hands down.

We all know how much google loves back links, and it's a never ending job for anyone doing SEO as you can never have enough back links. But are the back links you get from article submission worthy of the effort put in to continuously writing articles? Now this is a question, I'd love you to answer for me.

As I mentioned google loves back links, but it's also popular belief what google love even more is back links from on topic sites to your own, with high PR. Now, a article fresh off the press isn't going to have much PR. Over time it may get a PR1, or if you're lucky PR2. And this is from submitting your articles to the top article directories.

So the questions are, are we wasting our time with article writing?

Do we only submit our articles to the top 10-20 sites?

Do we go wild and submit as many times to as many places as possible?

Do google rank these links highly?

Now these are questions I'd love to know the answer to, one thing I do know is that there isn't much of an easier way to get a lot of back links. You can trudge through blogs trying to find quality blogs with high PR and 'do follow' comments, but this is extremely time consuming (not that article writing isn't!)

So where do we go from here? We submit our sites to website directories, to article directories, try get some 'do follow' blog comments, we post on forums, but is this enough?

Unfortunately it takes a lot of time for all these methods to accumulate and for us individually to see what effect (hopefully positive) it is having on our SEO.

And if we do see improvement, is this because of the effort of all these methods we've been using. Or a singular system we could more methodically be working on. In my mind there is doubt I'm wasting my time with some of what I end up doing in my attempt for higher google rankings, but as I'm not sure which is which. I stick with them all.

We're all on the same boat, desperate for that breakthrough in google. Stay positive and we'll get there in the end.
