Hanafi Bazaar
Open each day from 08:00 to 22:00, the Hanafi Bazaar is one of Aswan's oldest shopping zones. This old and somewhat dusty bazaar contains a large number of weird and wonderful treasures for visitors to marvel at, from genuine Nubian swords, to hand-woven baskets, amulets and colourful silk kaftans.
Om Elnor
This large jewellery shop is a popular place to purchase replica cartouches, the originals of which adorn the walls of many of the local temples and tombs. Those who are search of a little light refreshment can repair to the Nubian House Restaurant, which is located next door and also features an inviting souvenir shop.
Aswan Bazaar
Although the prices on offer at the Aswan Bazaar tend to be quite a bit higher than those available at many of the city's other bazaars, they go hand in hand with the quality of goods, which is among the best in the city. however, those who are good at bartering will be able to turn on the charm and persuade the sellers here to drop their prices considerably.
