Asymmetrical Dresses For This Season

It was quite obvious that the runway for Fall 2010 and 2011 was swarmed by armies

of models clad in asymmetrical dresses and now, we are seeing its culmination in stores, shops, practically everywhere.

Even the red carpet was not spared, celebrities are seen in asymmetrical dresses such as Emmy Rossum, looking stunning in a blue colored dress with one shoulder and other bare, really lovely for an evening get away.

Taylor Swift was also spotted sporting a cocktail asymmetrical dress into an evening affair at the Grammy concert, accessorized by crystal earrings and sparkling diamond-studded stilettos.

Even Kristen Stewart didnt let the dress go. Seen in a one-shoulder meets off-the shoulder silhouette, she was quite edgy during the premier of Twilight.

But then if you are a regular girl whos trying to pick up a guy with asymmetrical dresses, you better go back to where your wardrobe is and change immediately! At least, thats what they said, unless you are walking down the red carpet that is.

For one, when men look at women, they couldnt care less whether shes snapped up an on trend look or not (most straight men dont really give a damn about womens fashion) what do they care is that if a woman looks healthy, fertile and able to raise children. That is taken from a cave mans perspective but honestly, nothing much has changed since the Neanderthals.

The reason why these asymmetrical dresses should be avoided at times is that it often makes a girl look off balance and that is the last thing you want when trying to hook a guy. There may be an underlying problem if the guy youre talking to has to double check if your body indeed is complete and youre not missing a body part or hiding some defects.

Symmetry has always been the greatest way for men to easily check if a womans body is properly formed and healthy. So despite having a lot of asymmetrical dresses available this season, if you are trying to attract a guy, it would still be the best thing to avoid them but do wear them if you are out with the girls and want to have a nice time wearing what you want.

Asymmetrical dresses arent the best dresses to attract men but you can still wear them on several occasions. Whats important is that you are wearing what you want but dont expect men to drop head over heels.
