Avoid Being Banned From Google AdSense

Most of us have heard all about Adsense if not actually used it, but still it represents a totally credible and reliable method for site monetization. With the kind of competition that you have today, it's difficult to monetize your site, especially if it's new. This is why AdSense proves to be the perfect solution for anyone that wants to start making money from their website without any waiting. Adsense policies are strictly enforced, and it can be really easy to get terminated from the program.

Hopefully it is common sense that you should not click your own ads - the ones on your sites. This goes without saying; if you want to create a long term income with AdSense and want to keep it straight, then don't make the mistake of clicking on your own ads. Think about all the resources and technical ability Google has, and you will hopefully understand why you cannot game that one. They will let one go if you do it by mistake, and they understand that happens - just do not do it twice.

Google is pretty finicky about their Adsense because they never want anyone openly talking about their CTR's, earnings per click and other things of that nature. That also extends to things like photo scans of your income from Adsense, too. What you do is up to you, and the main thing is that you are aware of possible consequences if you do it.

You can protect yourself by doing things like blacking out data, so use common sense.

The click through rate of your account needs to be strictly watched. The standard, or average, CTR is approximately 1% to 5%, and you do need to make sure it stays somewhere around that range. For instance, if you find a CTR that's 20% then there's definitely click-fraud going on, that you need to stop. Google knows things like this happen, but still you should tell them about it because they will contact you eventually. Very many years ago, people did the keyword stuffing thing - terribly old-school and totally ineffective. Google's software is just too smart to let that one pass, and it is a sure-fire ticket to being banned from Adsense. Different search engines have different criteria for keyword density, but no more than roughly 3% will be fine. If you are serious about Google Adsense, then you have to merely abide by their rules and take care of it. It is really very simple, merely stick to their guidelines and procedures, and you will be fine.
