Baby Crib Quality Verses Budget
There is no question that the safety of your baby is the single most important part of having children
. We watch them all the time to make sure they are not getting into something that can get them hurt. We would watch them 24 hours a day if we could, but we have to sleep sometime. That is why baby cribs were invented.
A baby crib offers the security that allows us to sleep and nothing is safer for your baby during nap time. Baby crib stores, online and in physical locations, have everything you need to make the right choices. It all depends on your needs and your budget. Some cribs are weakly constructed and do not offer that level of sturdiness needed to care for your baby. This is where you should never compromise. Quality is the most important factor in choosing a crib for your baby. We have all heard the horror stories of crib recalls because a baby would get wedged between the crib walls and the frame. When you go to a baby store, take a look at the floor models and sample the quality for yourself. Shake the crib and see if it moves as one unit, or has too many moving parts. Then compare prices with other cribs you find online.
For those of us who have a budget, style is an important factor. The trend is leaning toward the modern look, so modern baby nurseries are the focus. The higher end baby cribs cost a bit more than their utilitarian counterparts. They offer solid wood designs, with fantastic colors to choose from. Some cribs come as part of a complete furniture set. They have matching dressers and mobiles. They even come with wallpaper that compliments the style of the crib. Thick wooden panels on the side of the crib give it a real look of quality, while the solid contemporary colors add to the integrity of the entire nursery.
The only downside about baby cribs is that you only need them for about a year or so. Luckily there are many hybrid cribs that allow you to convert your crib into a toddler bed. These hybrid beds are essential in this economy today. Even if you plan on having a second child, a hybrid bed is probably your best choice. The only other option is to sell your crib once you are child is too big to fit in one.
