In a previous article relating to the end of the Mayan Calendar, which most likely will occur on October 28, 2011, we have raised this sensation of a pace of time intensification resulting in a growing and strong sense of consciousness. This is what we are observing during this month of February with the unrest in Arab countries that started in Tunisia and Egypt and is gaining ground with an amazing speed. This willingness of populations to unchain themselves from the oppressive yoke of dictators in power over decades is revealing of this new awareness and aims at only one goal : freedom.
If the populations in such regions claim democracy it is because they realize, particularly owing to Internet, that Islamic countries have lagged behind the global evolution on Earth and its inhabitants. By this liberation, that will certainly continue during Spring, Arab people expect to place themselves at the same level of evolution attained in Western countries. Is this quantum leap possible within a couple of months ? It may sound incredible, but the answer seems to be yes. In fact, all is happening as if the Universe, at the approach of this turning point of October 2011, wishes a huge gathering, a convergence of views, a meeting between all people around the globe and beyond all political, religious or ethnical differences.
What are the reasons ? We can see many, such as the need to even economical, monetary, cultural and other systems. However, the real incentive for all this yearning is that each and every one of us, white, black or yellow, feel the urgency to come back to the Source, to the Unity. During these few months before reaching the date of October 28, each human being will need to align with the Divine Will, that of his soul and that of God, whatever may his conception of divinity be and regardless of his beliefs.
One of the Mayan Calendar specialists, Caleman, says "there is only one ancient inscription known which mentions the end of the calendar : Monument 6 at Tortuguero describes what will happen when the calendar ends. The actual deciphering of this ancient inscription by professional Mayanists is that we will then see the manifestation of Bolon Yokte Ku in ceremonial regalia with his insignias. Therefore, any other things you may have heard regarding the end of the Mayan Calendar, such as a change of pole, the end of the world, a galactic alignment, solar irruptions, fumes from the center of the galaxy, etc., have in fact no substratum in any ancient Mayan text".
Caleman says that Bolon Yokte Ku is the name of the cosmic pyramid with 9 steps; however, he does not specify what the meaning of "ceremonial regalia with his insignias" consists of.
Whereas, if one refers to the New Testament, it is said that at the end of times on earth, Christ will return in Glory to judge the living and the dead, He will grant to each human being according to his actions and welcome either His refusal or His Grace. Jesus-Christ Himself in the Gospel of John announces this second return. It will, although not take place without a last assault from evil forces. Is this not what we are experiencing with the fall of the last dictators ? When questioned on what will be the precursor signs of His return, Jesus pronounced this parable : "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that Summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at your doorsteps".
Have we not at the end of the Mayan Calendar reached the term of an endless Winter lasting during several thousands of years where injustice, vice, fright and death have reigned supreme over us ? Hence, let us rejoice ! For if times are difficult, if doubt and fear still invade our minds, we sense that the "new season" is near.
According to Caleman, the 9th unity stride (which begins on March 9) "would therefore invite us to a complete change in our behaviour to demonstrate unitary consciousness, final scheduled result on the cosmic level. If this must happen, it would also call for extraordinary cosmic forces able to accomplish the cosmic plan. In fact, perhaps the 9th stride will be a Last Judgement saving the world The 9th stride joins here the Alpha and the Omega in the sense that for the first time in history, it places the count of 9 days in the lead of evolution. These will be extraordinary times and it is possible that we are here confronted to a choice between truth and tradition"*
Is Jesus Christ not referred to in the Apocalypse (22, 12-15) as "Alpha and Omega" ?
"Here my return is nigh, and I bring with me the salary I'll pay each, in proportion to his work. I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, principle and an end. Blessed are those who wash their robes; they will dispose of the tree of life, and enter the city by the gates. Outside dogs, sorcerers, the impure, the killers, the idolaters and all those who like or tell lies !" (Ecumenical translation of the Bible (NRSV).
It is necessary to clear out that this change will occur within each of us and with everyone's contribution. It is therefore not a question of just sitting down and waiting without doing anything for Jesus, Buddha or any other Deity to come along and save the world. At this historical and universal gathering of the entire humanity, we are all invited to co-create a new world. The New Land that will appear after October 2011.
