Ban The Belly
The dreaded belly fat, oh yeah, it can be a nuisance
. You step on the scale and see exactly where some of those extra pounds are sitting. We dont want it, so what do we do to get rid of belly fat? Starve your belly? Hit the fitness center? Do a whole mess of sit-ups until those abs burn? Well, banning the belly isnt exactly as simple as trying to target a single area.
Ignore belly myths
Your body stores fat in target areas, such as your hips and belly, and this stored fuel is used by the entire body, not just your stomach, so crunches or abdominal workout machines wont actually get rid of belly fat. Theyll make your muscles stronger, but it isnt the right way to rid yourself of the fat. Starving yourself is another no-no, not only because it wont get rid of it (in fact, itll make your body want to save more when you eat), but its unhealthy and dangerous since your body needs the vitamins and minerals in food to survive. Diet pills and fat burning pills arent going to do your body any good either.
Trying to focus on just getting rid of your belly fat isnt going to work. You have to take care of your whole body, which means the right exercise, the right diet, and the right focus.
The right way to ban the belly
So, how do you get rid of belly fat? Well, its actually quite simple. You eat right and you stay active. Easier said than done, right? It all comes down to planning for a healthy lifestyle. Changing your body back to a lean, mean, healthy machine is all about doing whats right for the body.
Diet- eating the right food at the right time
Food contains calories, and calories are fuel, and without fuel, your body wont run. So, if you still have to eat, how are you going to get rid of the fuel storage youre carrying around on your belly? In order to properly use the fuel you have stored, youll need to consume fewer calories than you use each day. Sugary foods are probably something you will want to stay away from. Proteins and complex carbohydrates are your best source of fuel, often using their share of calories to digest them. Nuts, kale, and chia seeds are just a few examples of good sources of fuel with low calorie counts that will help fill you up and keep your body fit with vitamins and minerals.
Now, eating those calories at the right time is important. You may think that working out on an empty belly is going to burn more fat, but it wont. Youll just end up tired and sluggish and burn less. You want to organize your calorie intake to a little before your workout and right after, to keep your body strong and make sure that those calories you consume are being used, and not stored.
Exercise- staying active with a fitness plan
Belly fat is basically unused fuel for your body, so along with the right diet, making your body use that fuel is going to be the next part of the plan. Daily activity consumes a certain amount of calories, which you complement with the right diet, so we help things along with a little (or a lot) of exercise. Be consistent with your fitness plan. Many times folks will get to a certain point and stop- only to have their belly return. In order to ban the belly, you have to maintain an active lifestyle.
So, the right diet and the right fitness plan are the healthy way to banning the belly fat, but it takes some determination on your part to get the job done. Stay focused, and stay fit.
