Wondering where to stay in Bangkok's red light districts
? Well it's not too hard because there are many hotels in Bangkok whether you want to spend a lot or a little money. However should choose a hotel that has a guest friendly policy.
There are many hotels in and around Bangkok's 3 red light districts. But not all hotels will allow you to invite ladies or lady boys working in go go bars back to your hotel room. Actually they do, but you have to pay a joiner fee - which ranges from 500 Baht and up. So the right course of action is to choose a hotel with a guest friendly policy.
Many automatically assume that a hotel that won't charge joiner fees is some kind of seedy run down hotel with shady characters as guests and hookers knocking on doors every night. This is not true at all. There are many types of guest friendly hotels with affordable rates and even most of the 5 star hotels are too.
Some popular budget guest friendly hotels in Bangkok even include free breakfast in their room price, such as the Majestic Suites, Paradiso Suites and Woraburi Sukhumvit Hotel and Resort.
And if you can afford to pay a bit more then you should consider staying at the Majestic Grande, Landmark Hotel and JW Marriott.
All of the hotels mentioned above are found right in a red light district called Nana. It is one of the best areas to stay in because there are train stations nearby as well as many businesses that cater to foreign tourist. Another bonus is that Nana is not too far from Soi Cowboy which you can easily walk to.
There are also many clubs and beer bars in Nana too where you can find freelancers roaming the streets.
The other 2 red light districts also have guest friendly hotels too but since Nana is where most of the action is at then it is also the best place to stay. Just remember that these hotels are popular with business travelers, newly weds and even families traveling together. So it is best to book these hotels in advance.
