Banish Blemishes In 3 Weeks - Start With Face Cleansers
A clear complexion takes some work for most of us
. Those with naturally beautiful skin may look like it all comes naturally but we'll bet it doesn't!
Follow these tips for three weeks and you will be on your way to a perfect complexion!
Begin your daily skincare routine with a good facial cleanse. This washes away makeup and pollution and prepares the base for your skincare regime. Oilier skins should opt for a slightly foaming cleanser and dry skins should choose a milky one.
For amazing skin, after cleaning your face and once your skin is dry, spritz a fine toning mist of either lavender or rose infused distilled water across your face. This will help cool and close your pores whilst bringing the PH level of your skin back down to 4.5 and 5.5 which is optimum.
A great tip for blemish free skin is to restore the skins hydration levels by choosing a quality moisturizer. If your skin is oily you still need to moisturize to keep essential water levels of the skin topped up. Hydration is different to oil flow and it is the oil flow that will make your skin feel greasy and not a good quality moisturizer.
One of the best thing to do for the best skincare is once weekly exfoliate dead skin cells to ensure your pores do not clog up and your skin looks bright and glowing. You should also exfoliate your body with a mit or body brush to increase blood and lymph circulation. Always brush towards the heart, which moves toxins out of your body.
Sleep is an essential part of your beauty regime. Lack of sleep can leave blemishes and dark circles under the eyes. Over a period of time this can lead to stress which can cause all sorts of nasties such as pimples and dry skin.
As we all know beauty starts from within so eating a balanced diet that is rich in essential fatty acids and a colorful array of fruit and vegetables will make your skin glow from the outside in. Minimize the amount of sugar, caffeine and alcohol you consume and of course drink plenty of water to help flush you body free of toxins.
Now for some lifestyle tips. Sleep is oh so important to our skins. Lack of sleep can lead to dark circles under the eyes, dryness and can leave skin look drawn and dull. Try to get 7-8 hours as your skin will regenerate while you rest.
For really congested skins an at home steam treatment can be beneficial. However only try this if your skin is significantly oily as it can excessively dry out other skin types. For five minutes place you face 30cm away from a basin filled with hot water and two drops of tea tree to open and cleanse the pores.
A healthy diet is vital. Vitamins and nutrients that benefit the skin come in the form of fruit, vegetables and essential fatty acids such as fish and nuts and seeds. Drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins and your skin will glow!
Supplements such as Linseed and flax seed oils are great for plumping the skin where it's needed. You could try fish oils too if you don't mind the flavor!
Within three weeks we hope this routine will have become a way of life and trust us, your skin will thank you!
