To get into the field of banking, one has to give competitive exams conducted by respective banks for various posts. Bank recruitment is done on the basis of the result of these bank exams. The question paper is designed by a group of high professionals in the respective branch of banking.

The questions asked in bank exams depend on the posts for which the exam is conducted. However, general knowledge questions cover one of the major portions of the bank exam questions. There fore, one has to have good knowledge about the current affairs especially in the field of banking, trading and finance. The question paper pattern is almost similar in all papers, but the questions vary every time. The eligibility criterion and recruitment procedure is different for every bank. Following are some basic ways to prepare for bank exams:

General knowledge: most of the questions asked in the bank exams are regarding the current affairs in various fields. A student who is appearing for the bank exams without having a thorough knowledge of current affairs has more chances to fail.

Strategy: one needs to prepare a good and logical strategy to answer questions. Since there are thousands of people appearing for the exam, one has to be different with his or her approach.

Avoid questions that create doubt: you should leave questions, which are doubtful as answering them would cut down your percentage of right questions.

Vocabulary: this is an important pre-requisite. Not only in bank exams but during the recruitment session also it is important to have a good vocabulary.

Knowledge about the bank: you should have at least some basic knowledge about the bank and its background.

Notes: bank booklets are available and provide very good study material; however, they are not enough to study and score high. One needs to get supplementary notes.

These important points are to be kept in mind during preparation for bank exams. After bank recruitment a secure future is promised. Bank exam question papers do not confine to the boundaries of bank but the general level, therefore one must be alert and answer logically.
