As most of you know a perfume is a fine mixture of solvents

, oils, aromatic compounds and fixatives with a special fragrance. Perfumes does provide a special fragrance to the human body, objects, animals and living spaces. The special compounds that constitute the fragrance are either extracted from a plant, animal etc. or just manufactured synthetically.

You can not say which parfume is the best as this depends not on the smell but on the person's taste. One person might love the smell while the other may dislike the exact same perfume. There are many things that set a perfume apart from its pears like its marketing and which celebrity is endorsing it. Perfumes are also a very popular gift item especially for your mother, wife or girlfriend. There is a large variety of scents and fragrances available at most malls and special stores. With such a large variety of perfumes at disposal a lot of people tend to get confused while buying them, not knowing which to choose.

Simple put there are 4 kinds of parfumer available: Parfume contains the maximum quantity of fragrance so its price is also quite high like with the famous chanel nr.5. However you need to apply just a small amount as it is long lasting for most original none fake models. Eau de Parfum is popular due to its durability and strength. Eau de Toilette ranks 3. in terms of strength of smell. It is cheap as compared to Eau de Parfum but isn't as long lasting. Eau de Cologne contains the least amount of fragrance of these 4. It is the cheapest among the various kinds of fragrances and also fades away quickly. Scented oils are also a good option for many.

Generally a good and expensive model like the well know chanel nr. 5 has three fragrance notes. These fragrance notes are in three layers. The first is among the first to be smelt although it doesn't last for a long time. Then the middle note takes precedence which is then followed by the last and the base note. The base note is the one that lasts the longest and defines the character of the perfume. If you don't like a particular smell then ensure that the base note doesn't contain it.

There are also a variety of categories of parfume like floral, oriental, leather, woody, aquatic, citrus and chypre. Most places you can buy testers or small sized perfume bottles, in case you are unable to decide which buy. A good quality perfume will generally be very expensive if it's an original one. So it's best to be completely sure o its fragrance before you buy it. do not buy a bottle in a rush. Try it on first and smell all the three notes of the fragrance and notice how long it last. If you then are all pleased go ahead and buy it the next day. Some models are heavy while others are light. A light fragrances might be a perfect choice in the day time and then during the summer season and in the evening the heavy perfume fragrance would be the better pick. So please keep these tips in mind when deciding which parfume defines you the best.
