Be Careful To Clean Your Shower Enclosure
Nowadays we are more and more care about our healthy
. And the society has become more aware of the prevalence of germs and bacteria on every surface that we touch. As a result, we are extremely health conscious. We make sure to clean the house at least once a week with strong disinfecting soap agents so that our rooms stay clean and smell fresh. And we wash everything we can think of, we clean everything that we think dirty. We use our
cheap hot tubs to bath ourselves everyday to make sure we are clean and healthy.
However, are we really targeting the right areas? Before you start to panic and attack all your bathroom vanities and toilets with the most powerful bleach you can find, you should know that the majority of the bacteria that exist on our home's surfaces is not harmful! The existence of these bacteria actually keeps us healthier because it helps our bodies build up immunity to foreign organisms. Therefore, some bacteria is a good thing! However, you do need to keep your eye out for these few areas. Those places are the one we should take care.
1) The kitchen sink is one of the most bacteria-laden areas in the whole home. Yes, it is even worse than the toilet! Half-eaten food and dirty dishes often pile up in there for a few hours at least before they make their way into the dishwasher. No matter how much bleach you use, the bacteria will never completely disappear. The best idea is not to leave raw vegetables and cutlery near the sink before you eat or use it.
2) Wash out those sponges! You can throw them into the dishwasher or microwave them for ten seconds. It keeps things much cleaner!
3) Bed sheets also need to be washed more frequently than one would normally think. Ideally, you will change the sheets once a week; your sheets accumulate sweat and bacteria from your skin. Changing sheets once a week will decrease your chances of getting sick. If you do not want to change your sheets once a week, I have a good way you can consider. Put your sheets and quilts under the sun for hours twice a day. The strong sunshine can of course kill many bacteria. But do not just use the sunshine, you have to wash your sheets often. It will not take you too much time.
4) Clean out the shower, sink vanity, bathtub, and toilet at least once a week (more frequently if it sees a large amount of traffic). Most bathrooms have easy-to-clean laminate plastic or acrylic materials(
contemporary bathtubs); it does not require too much scrubbing. Make sure to use gloves when cleaning the toilet and bathtub.
Shower enclosure is not easy to clean, there are many corners in it, and it is a little complicate than a normal bathtub. So you should be more patient while cleaning it.
In my opinion, bathroom is the most difficult place to clean, so we should be more patient. The questioned places are really important for us, we have no way but to try our best to make them clean if we want to enjoy a clean and healthy life. Make sure you use cleaners that are safe, especially if you have small children. Avoid the heavily toxic cleaning agents! Good luck keeping your kitchen and bathroom!
