Brohard Park

Brohard Park covers 67 acres, and includes half a dozen smaller park areas within itself, including Service Club Park, Venice Fishing Pier, Maxine Barrit Park and the Brohard Paw Park.

Service Club Park

While the center of Brohard Park is busy, just off the north edge you'll find the quiet locale of Service Club Park. It's a perfect place to set up camp and get a bit of the beach in without the bustle of the busier areas.

Location: South Harbor Drive

Parking: Free parking lot.

Amenities: Showers and Toilets.

Activities: Beach Volleyball, Picnic Areas and of course the Beach.

Venice Fishing Pier/Beach Access

If you're looking for a great home base for the day, head down to Venice Fishing Pier, which has all the important amenities, and the very visible beach-side Sharky's Bar and Restaurant.

Location: South Harbor Drive

Maxine Barrit Park

Right nearby the Venice Fishing Pier, you'll see Maxine Barrit Park, full of playgrounds, an alligator habitat surrounded by fences, and some of the pet-friendliest policies in Venice, letting you bring your dog along with a 6' leash.

Brohard Paw Park

Even our pets need vacations, and there's no place better to make sure your dog gets a bath than to take them to the beach. Unfortunatley, most of Venice's beaches keep pets out to keep the beaches clean, but at Brohard Paw Park your little friend is more than welcome. With an acre of beachfront property and lots of ways to rest and refresh for both you and your dog, it's a necessary stop in Venice if you brought your furry friend along for the trip.

South Brohard Beach

Finally, rounding out Brohard Park, if you're looking for another quiet end of the park, head to South Brohard Beach and relax away from the bustle of the main beaches.

Location: South Harbor Drive

Parking: Free parking lot.

Amenities: Showers and Toilets.

Caspersen Beach

As the southernmost of Venice's many beaches, Caspersen Beach is able to offer a mix between developed beach and undeveloped coastline as the beauty of nature takes hold on the edge of town. Running two miles along the coastal beach, and covering all of 177 acres, Caspersen Beach is one of the most unique places in all of Venice, letting you get back to nature or just relax on the quiet end of the beach. If you're an amateur paleontologist, Caspersen is the place for you too, with plenty of fossilized sharks teeth and seashells to collect in the undeveloped areas.

Location: End of South Harbor Drive

Parking: Free parking lot.

Amenities: Picnic Areas, Showers and Toilets.
