Beaten Down BY Life? You Must Bounce Back

Do you ever feel beaten down by life? Maybe,you are broke, overweight, unemployed, over utilized and underappreciated. Perhaps your marriage

is on the rocks, or maybe you can't even get a date. Your kids might

be wild or maybe you are mourning because you can't have kids. You just

lost a loved one or you live in fear and dread.

Life can be brutal and sometimes it punches you full force. Terrible things happen and you feel like you are all alone. The pain is real

and raw and you feel like just giving up.

You can't give up, because we need you. Your pain will someday be someone else's comfort. As morbid as it might sound it is true. One

day the very hurt you are going through, and yes you will survive because

you are stronger than you think. All the positive forces in the universe are

telling you to hang on, hold on and do not quit. Listen to your heart you know you are a survivor.

When I was a young woman of twenty three, I came as close to the edge of life as possible without going over. I had everything to live for yet, I felt like I was in a dark bottomless pit with no way out. In my case my Father's

death had been the beginning of my downward plunge into the abyss of nothingness.

I will not bore you with ancient details but I should not be breathing and enjoying this wonderful life I have right now. It was because of amazing

grace and a love so powerful; that I don't think I will ever be able to explain it that I am able to type this to you today.

To all of you who are going through a bad time, it will get better. To all of you who feel like giving up. Don't quit. To all of those who are feeling the same way I felt well over 24 years ago. I understand the feelings are real, reach out, get the help you need. Your life is precious and it was meant to be lived because we really do need you. We need your gifts, your talents, we need you.
