There was a wedding in our family a couple of months ago and since it was a going

to be a lavish affair it was decided to hire a team of professionals who would take care of make-up and hair requirements related to the principal females involved. These involved, obviously, the bride herself and her mother and sisters, along with several nieces and aunts all of whom wanted to be beautified for the big day. In theory, having the team stay at the house would be quicker and more convenient that having all the ladies traipse to the salons. The reality of course proved to be much different!

Going to a beauty salon is rarely a relaxing experience since the treatments often include painful and time-consuming procedures, but it does help if the salon has a good ambience with the staff being polite and well trained. As for hair care, you want someone who will be gentle and keep in mind that the customers wishes need to be respected. So many people, especially women, neglect their hair and do not stick to a regular hair care regime, which is about so much than just getting a trim every few months.

Getting your hair styled for a wedding or party can be a painful and expensive deal, as I recently found out. The stylist that was selected to do the brides hair was brisk and efficient, but had decided that it didnt matter what the bride wanted in terms of style, she was just going to do her own thing and proceeded to fix the brides hair in the newest style, insisting that we would be pleased with the results. Having given up trying to explain what we wanted, and resigned to the fact that we could not get another top stylist at such short notice, we let her get on with the trial.

The first concerns started the week before the wedding with a few ladies trying out new Hair loss treatments that they had just shared with each other and each thought that it was her duty to inform the bride about Hair growth and their own hair fall solutions. The fact that the bride had lovely thick and shiny hair just meant that she had hear all the possible doom-laden prophecies about how she would suffer hair loss soon, unless she regularly used hair oil. All the bathrooms were occupied with dyes being applied and washed out, and the house reeked with the fumes of lotions, potions and unguents.

To be honest, she was right and the brides hair style suited her face and outfit, but just seeing all the pulling, ironing, drying, curling and back-combing brought tears to my eyes. I was glad that my own locks needed nothing more than a good brushing and a little spritz of serum to make it shiny, since it had been cut and shaped into an easily maintained style with little fuss involved, thank God!

Naturally it really deserve this much attention. But our much busy and polluted air it is becoming much tough for us to sustain our hairs as long as we want and as much healthy with growing.
