Becoming A Medical Transcriptionist

Becoming a Medical Transcriptionist has become a goal that I have set for myself

. I was married at the age of 24 and divorced by the age of 27. And my ex husband mentally and physically abused me to the point that I had very little self esteem. At the time I felt that I would never really become successful so I set out to do just that. I became a very independent young woman and did not need anyone in my life to make me feel successful except myself. I was working for a very well known company in my town as an accounting supervisor and I loved it. After I was there for about 5 years I met my now husband and I was happy with my life and I had made up my mind that I did not know if I wanted to have any children my husband had a little boy and we were happy.

Well we then decided to add to our family and 2 years later I had a beautiful little boy and when it came time for me to go back to work I just could not leave my precious little angel with a daycare or a sitter. I did not want to miss any of those special moments of all of his firsts. I thought that it would be so easy to do because I loved my job so much and I was comfortable with my life. Well it wasn't! And it was then that everything changed I decided to stay at home with him. So I sold my Truck that I loved and I was going to start my own cleaning business well needless to say that did not work and I had a lot of disappointments with stay at home jobs after that . So I started to research on the internet about stay at home jobs and I came up with not a lot of good things and a lot of scams. I feel like becoming a Medical Transcriptionist is a great opportunity for me and it will help me become that independent woman that I once was. SN:0TG9Y2ESY

The average salaries for medical transcription are good, and the flexibility of hours will still allow me to pick up my step son from school and my other son will be starting school next year and I will have the opportunity to go to his school parties and functions and his doctors appointments and still be contributing to our household income and feel good about myself again. Another reason I would like to work from home as a MT is there is no office that I would have to travel to so that would save a lot of money in fuel, lunch cost, parking, wardrobe, and the stress of the traffic. What more could one want! I feel like Future MT is a great place for me to get my training because of all of the support that the company offers during my training and after, and the course is really affordable unlike a medical transcription university. My goals as a Medical Transcriptionist are to work as hard as I can to become as successful as I can and to offer the best and most professional job for all of my clients. I hope that within 5 years I will be able to own my own business and maybe even recruit more people into the Medical Transcription field so that they to can enjoy the American Dream.
