Reasons Why I Want To Become A Medical Transcriptionist

One of the reasons why I would like to become a work from home medical transcriptionist is because I love words

. I enjoy spelling words and I have a strong desire to make sure that the words that I type and use are spelled correctly. I also love to type. I looked into medical record jobs, but typing has been one of my favorite hobbies and now has become one of the tasks I do most of the day in my current job working at a computer. If you put together a love for typing and words, I believe you have a good combination for becoming a great medical transcriptionist. Another reason that I want to become a medical transcriptionist is that for several years, I have wanted to start my own part-time business at home. Becoming a medical transcriptionist will enable me to start and continue a part-time business at home. In the future, as I gain more experience, I could start working more hours and develop the part-time job into a full-time job so that I can stay at home.

Working from home would cut over two hours of commute time daily and save a lot of wear and tear on my car. My current car is thirteen years old. Also, I would have more time to spend with my husband. We love to travel and go to car shows in a 1931 Ford Sedan that has been completely redone inside and out. We attend car shows on the weekends and when I am on vacation. So far, the longest distance we have traveled in our old car is to Vermont. To be able to have the flexibility to work from home as a medical transcriptionist would allow me to plan more time to go to car shows and to spend more quality time with my husband. I would welcome the opportunity to train with Future MT. I feel like Future MT would properly train and prepare a student for the challenges that lie ahead for an entry-level medical transcriptionist. Since one of Future MTs main goals is to train you and then help you find employment, I feel like this program would benefit any up-and-coming medical transcriptionist to become an entrepreneur five to ten years down the road. One of my current goals is, first of all, obtain the proper training on how to become one of the best medical transcriptionists that I can become. I feel like Future MTs program will allow me to achieve that. Second, I would, of course, rely on Future MT to equip me with all the information necessary in starting my own part-time business working from home. In five to ten years, I should have enough experience to be a very proficient medical transcriptionist and hopefully, more successful. Due to my excellent training that I will obtain from Future MT, I would be a home-based medical transcriptionist in demand. I would really appreciate the opportunity to be selected to receive a full scholarship award and welcome the chance to prove that I would be an excellent medical transcriptionist five years down the road.
