Benefits Of Using A 64gb Sdcx For Manufacturers And Consumers

A 64GB SDCX is a flash memory card that has a storage of 64 Gigabytes meaning that

it can store literally thousands of photos and/or sound files, huge video files and software. Like a hard drive it is a 'solid state' memory device meaning that it will hold the data indefinitely and does not require external power, and it is also very quick to access. Unlike a hard drive however, a 64GB SDCX can be removed from the device and then inserted into any other device which gives it a range of additional uses.

This is highly beneficial from the perspective of a consumer, and it means that devices with space for a 64GB SDCX card are much more versatile than those that do not. For instance it allows for the quick transfer of files between portable devices and computers, or between multiple devices. It also means you can take all of the files from your device with you and not have to carry the device itself. Further, if you were to have a problem with the internal storage on a device that used a built in hard drive, you would have to take it for repairs or to somehow reset the device while if you had a problem with your storage on a 64GB SDCX, all you would have to do is to replace the card. Finally it also essentially means you have unlimited storage the reason being that SD cards are so small that you can carry several with you. Keep a selection of SD cards in your pocket and you can move onto one after you use up the other. If you carry several in your pockets you could use one 64GB SD card for software and another for music. The minute you buy a new card you double the potential storage space of the device.

For manufacturers using a large SDXC card has many advantages too. For instance it helps to keep the cost of the device down. For instance, the manufacturers can offer the device cheaply without the SD card, or charge slightly more with it included giving the consumer more option. Alternatively they can offer several options with differently sized SD cards.

Another benefit of using a 64GB SDCX card for manufacturers is that it allows them to save space in the device. In order to reduce the size of devices manufacturers have to find ways to fit multiple components into the case of their device. A hard drive is a necessary component in any device so by exchanging this for an external SD card they can actually save space in their device and make it smaller (and/or increase the power of the other components).

The fact that it's easier to repair for consumers also makes this preferable for manufacturers as it means they will have fewer items returned due faulty storage and if they do, all they have to do is send out a new SD card. A big SD card then helps to make devices more versatile, smaller and more powerful.
