Mr. Benjamin Wey, Managing Director of New York Global Group ("NYGG") was named Deputy
Director of China Mergers & Acquisitions Association, an affiliated association of China Federation of Industry and Commerce. Formed in 2004, The China Mergers & Acquisitions Association (CMAA) is a leading authority on China's M&A activities and policy guidance. The Association was established in response to the demand of China's developing M&A sector and to promote globalization of Chinese enterprises.
The Association recognizes outstanding achievement that New York Global Group and Managing Director Benjamin Wey have contributed to the growth of private sector companies in China.
The China Mergers & Acquisitions Association is comprised of leading Chinese professional service institutions, including M&A advisory. These companies provide a broad range of services such as enterprise restructuring, private placement, IPO, M&A transactions and industrial consolidation from both mainland China and Hong Kong. Benjamin Wey is the Managing Director of Asia business development for New York Global Group. Mr. Wey is known for his extensive knowledge and experience as a China expert. He is regularly invited as a guest speaker at various China and international capital markets related conferences. As early as in 1994, he advised Eaton Corporation, a Fortune 500 company (NYSE: ETN), with the client's first successful joint venture with a Chinese state owned company which has become the No. 1 market leader in China's hydraulic motor industry. Mr. Wey is one of the founding executives of two investment banking firms and has acted as an advisor to over 90 public and private institutions worldwide including the Bank of China and the People's Bank of China addressing their market entry and capital markets related needs. A Chinese American, he fluently speaks and writes Mandarin Chinese. Mr. Wey has an undergraduate degree in Management and an MBA in Finance. He is also a visiting Professor in the areas of global finance at two Chinese Universities. In June 2006, he was named Deputy Director of China Mergers & Acquisitions Association.
