Best Aruba Vacation Off the Beaten Path

Aruba is an amazing place to vacation. But when I looked at hotels in Aruba, I wanted somethingspecial. If you've been to the Caribbean before, you pretty much know what to expect; cookie-cutter hotels complete with Starbucks and gift shops full of t-shirts and coffee mugs. But, if you're looking for a great vacation in Aruba that's not your typical tourist scene, you won't be disappointed with Club Arias. Not yourusual high-story hotel, Club Arias is a series of private villas located in the suburbs of Aruba. There are many hotels in Aruba, but this does not feel like a commercial hotel. When we first planned to travel to Aruba, we saw many hotels, and read many reviews. The intimate feel of Club Arias makes it the perfect place that is off the beaten path. They have have shuttles to take you into town or to the beach, or hop on a quad and drive there yourself. Whether you go for conferences, reunions, families or couples, it feels wonderful from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. My husband and I went there on our honeymoon and have been back every year since. We've gone alone, with our two kids, and eventook an extended-familytrip with grandparents, cousins, etc. It's almost like havingyour own, private vacation home in the heart of the Caribbean. There are two huge pools, oneolympic-type and another with a massive wading area (great for kids) with built-in lounge chairs, a wet bar and waterfall.Thetwoto three room villas are equipped with a mini kitchen (complete with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker) and a big, flat screen TV. Watch a movievia satellite or pop your own into the DVD player. Of course, you can always hire one ofthe available babysitters and go for a night out on the town. That is agreat part of our vacations in Aruba. Club Arias offers similar accommodations as your average hotel with an atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else.
