I go for a walk nearly every morning with several of my friends
. We are known far and wide as the "rolling thunder walking club." Admittedly we walk at a very slow pace but we have a very good time and have developed quite a following on our walking route with people stopping to talk to us almost daily. We do it more for the fun than the exercise.
Occasionally we will come across a charging dog. I used to carry my telescopic stun baton as our defense and I used it twice with great success. But now I carry the Mace pepper gun. It is the best defense against dog attacks. Nearly 5,000,000 Americans every year are bitten by a dog and close to one million of them requiring hospitalization. It is a rapidly growing problem across the country.
