In just one year of the program, many over 80% of students achieve a fifth grade reading level from being unable read or write prior to starting.

Through Christ-centered materials, students are not only taught to read, write, and do simple math, but they also learn about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ at the same time. Bible based literacy programs enhance the student's self-worth which is gained through learning of Christ's love and redemption. Bible based literacy classes have thirty students on average, and incurred operating costs go toward scripture books, slates and chalk, lanterns (for night classes in rural areas), and supplemental learning material (personal development manuals, and more).
