If you have large gardens. I used to do everything with common garden tools. There was a lot of work and made the whole body hurts. I hated gardening. Since I bought this hedge trimmer, I found myself enjoying what used all the time. I love this mower. I am a woman, 5'2, I have no problem dealing with this trimmer. It is not difficult, and it works like a charm. There are many Holly bushes covered in my garden. I cut so quickly with this fun device. It has to do now . yard work I can cut and cut hours without feeling tired. I think maybe because they do not vibrate. I think electronic trimmer is much better than a gas trimmer. It is not very high, and there is no problem, only have to plug and play. length of cable is not a problem for me at all. But do not expect to cut tree branches very thick. Must be seen.

I have a good 60' X 7' of hedges that wrap around my house. Unit arrived today and I put it right to work. Hard to believe that this is a refurbished unit because it worked fine and looked brand new in every way. I could have gone gas but honestly, how often are you trimming your hedges anyway... The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star was the handle which you need to secure with a screw on each side which seems a little sketchy because if it does break the unit is useless. Considering the price for a 24" cut this thing is a real winner.

Call a spade a spade!

I was shocked to find this was a refurbished item. It was listed as new on the web page I accessed. I would have gladly paid the difference for new. I've only used it once and the blade doesn't seem to cut as good as my old one. Still, it has a 2 year warranty and maybe getting the blade sharpened will take care of it.
