Till date, RIM has not made any public announcement about it but there are various sites that have started showing the unofficial preliminary technical specifications of the handset. According to these tech specs, Blackberry Storm 3 is featured with many latest features and got different outer shell than the previous Blackberry Storms. It is fully touchscreen smart phone that is integrated with 3.7 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display accompanied by an optical track pad. The display screen is also featured with accelerometer and proximity sensors for auto UI rotate and auto turn off functionality. The leaked images of Blackberry Storm 3 are very impressive and hence it is expected that the handset will be a success to remove the monotonous looks of available Blackberry phones.

It is running Blackberry's latest mobile phones OS, Blackberry 6.1 OS and powered by 1.2GHz processor. It is embellished with massive memory storage of 8GB with 512MB RAM. The memory space can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot support. Blackberry Storm 3 will be proved a good camera phone as well, as it is integrated with 5MP built-in autofocus camera. It will also provide facility of mobile internet connectivity through GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, UMA. For local connectivity with compatible devices it is also featured with Bluetooth technology and microUSB slot. For entertainment, it can be used as portable music player as Blackberry Storm 3 is also having a built-in multimedia player. You can play various games in it and download many games as well. The handset is also helpful in instant documentation via built-in document editor(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF). Moreover, Blackberry Storm 3 is A-GPS supported that will help you to find out alternative routes and help you out when you are lost in an unknown place.
