Hemorrhoids are of two types: internal and external. Bleeding internal hemorrhoids are normally located at the distal end of the rectum and being internal and because the symptom of internal hemorrhoids is bleeding, they are often referred to as such. Hemorrhoids are swollen veins of the rectum and anus. In the internal hemorrhoids, there is no pain at all despite the veins being heavily swollen as a result of inflammation. 6. Try applying witch hazel to the anal area. This astringent greatly helps in reducing the extent of the hemorrhoids
