Blogging Tips For London 2012

The smart move would be to prepare as best you can for that moment. Here are a few tips.

Be creative

If you are starting a blog, you'll be looking at things to cover. What will really increase your readers is your blog being unique. For example, the BBC will be keeping people up to date with action from the events, so you might not want to just report on the events. Maybe you could offer an opinion piece after it? Better still, fire up Twitter and try and talk to athletes for a preview. At the end of the day, it's what you feel most comfortable with writing about, but do look at what you're competing with to give yourself a chance.

Although your words will be doing most of the work, a good design can reel readers in. Look at colour schemes, look at the placement of various boxes on the page and choose your images wisely.
