Boca Raton Chrysler Dealers See Strong Sales Month
It was like Christmas in April for Chrysler dealers as the company experienced a
25 percent sales increase over April 2009, the best increase for the company in almost five years. April vehicle deliveries were up 3 percent from March and Chrysler sold an actual 95,703 vehicles compared to 76,682 in April 2009.
Boca Raton Chrysler dealers have reason to be excited and optimistic and feel that consumer confidence has finally made an impact in the auto industry. The company also announced in April that it had earned $143 million profit for the first quarter. Lead Sales Executive for the Sales Organization Fred Diaz said, April was a very positive month for Chrysler Group with concrete results that highlight the company in on-track and gaining momentum.
The biggest area of increased sales for Chrysler last month was midsize cars. Customers of Boca Raton Chrysler dealerships will be glad to know this increase can help them, because larger profit margins for Chrysler mean the possibility of lower prices in the showroom.
To break it down, the Chrysler brand had a sales increase of 61 percent, with the Chrysler Sebring leading the way in increased sales. Dodge brand models also were up by 61 percent and the Challenger led the increase there. Even the Ram Heavy Duty pickup had a sales increase of 13 percent, remarkable with so many leaning toward smaller, more efficient cars.
Diaz said these increased numbers are a sign of the companys determination to get stronger and stay strong. We arent resting on this months results. We are hungry to continue building on the sales improvements we are just getting started, he added. Staff at the Boca Raton Chrysler dealership agree wholeheartedly.
With the advent of new models slated for this year, such as the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee in July and new versions of the Durango, Chrysler 300 and Charger, the company will likely see increased sales continue, adding to profits and helping keep new models affordable.
Customers of Boca Raton Chrysler will be in for some pleasant surprises with the new models. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee has a new engine which will make regular driving more efficient and off-roading much more fun. The Chrysler 300 and Charger have received some technological upgrades and been refreshed a bit.
It looks like Chrysler Motor Company is on the road to recovery. This should mean good news for the U.S. economy in general and the auto industry job market in particular. How remarkable it would be if we could get a cycle going that would create jobs, keep prices down and meet customers automotive needs. It might start to feel like we live in America again!
