They ask that up to five digital images of the automobile be taken and uploaded to record damage to the car. With digital cameras, lap tops with webcams and cell phones that take pictures, the staff says the vast majority of their customers are able to easily comply with this request for images.

There is a detailed form that needs to be filled out online, which will accompany the images of the car. Once that information has been emailed to Collex, a representative will contact the customer (within a day of the request) with a ballpark figure. The e-Estimate is in no way binding, nor does it commit the car owner to any action.
