I'll be so bored its hours and hours in the city. At first, I was thinking what did I get myself into. Each drive into the National Park takes about 3 hours and covers about 80 km of forest roads.

With experienced Spotters and Naturalists one can spot a Malabar Squirrel or Serpent Eagle perched on the tree canopy or wild Asian elephants, Gaur (Indian bison) - the largest wild oxen in the world, spotted deer, barking deer, mouse deer, Sambar, sloth-bears, marsh crocodiles, otters, dhole or Indian wild dogs, leopards, tigers and innumerable species of birds.

The beauty of the sun trying to bathe the forest with its rays is delightful. A herd of deers going down to the river for a drink. Monkeys chattering and birds calling in the nearby trees, signalling that an elusive Royal Tiger is stalking Deer through the high grass. Nagarhole is awesome for a Jungle safari as the climate is mostly warm and temperate and the winter is very short.
