Brad Paisley Tickets - Brad Paisley Gears Up For H2o Tour With Acm Win

Brad Paisley always brings much-needed comic relief to the country music world

, and he didn't disappoint during the recent Academy of Country Music Awards. He lost out on the Entertainer of the Year award to Carrie Underwood, but he did take home the award for Top Male Vocalist of the Year, beating Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker, George Strait and Keith Urban. He was also up for Album of the Year and Video of the Year, but lost out to Miranda Lambert in both categories for her album Revolution and her single "White Liar."

Paisley's humorous side came out during his acceptance speech, directed at presenter Matthew McConaughey. He joked, "By the way, my wife [actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley] says 'hi'. She loved playing your wife in We Are Marshall. But she says I'm a better kisser." He also hinted that the joke was actually on him, as he continued, "They didn't have any kissing scenes in that movie. So I have no idea how she knows that." Paisley and his wife are a fan favorite, especially now that the couple has two adorable sons, William Huckleberry ("Huck") and Jasper Warren.

He may have to come up with another hilarious acceptance speech for the 2010 CMT Music Awards on June 9 in Nashville. Paisley is up for three different awards, but he will have to beat out other top stars. His song "Welcome to the Future" was nominated for Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year. His performance of "Then" at the 2009 CMT Music Awards is also nominated for the CMT Performance of the Year. He is up against other country royalty in all three fields, and the fields will be narrowed from eight nominees to four on May 11.

They were competing for Entertainer of the Year at the ACMs, but Paisley and Underwood will be reuniting this summer for the West Virginia stop of the PGA Tour. They will both be part of a private concert at the Greenbrier resort on July 31, which coincides with the Greenbrier Classic. Some of the proceeds from the concert will be given to local charitable organizations.

Each year, country fans who also love the water look forward to the Sea Ray AquaPalooza 2010. This year, the event will take place on July 10 in Austin, Texas. Last year's signature event was in Alabama and featured Alan Jackson, and the star power will continue as Brad Paisley has been tapped for this year's show. The AquaPalooza is a unique show, as the show is free for those who come on their boats.

It is fitting for Paisley to headline this year's event, as he is currently on his H2O Tour and has recently released the single "Water." His shows will feature water activities as well as education about water needs around the world.
