What an exciting event. Knowledge obtained from the guest speakers was second to none. The personal support you get from everyone else in the organization is almost beyond comprehension. We have made new friends which I am sure will end up being lifelong friends. We enjoyed returning the support to others and watching their emotions, this made us feel great to share part of their life. You can see everyone can do things that seem almost impossible to do like arrow breaking, bending rebar and fire walking while overcoming self doubts and believing in themselves.

Personally for myself, bending the rebar made me realize that the fear inside of me was only in my mind and when I trusted the group support and my body I was able to overcome my fears. I am able to apply this to my everyday fears and doubts, which I can now concur.

When I saw that fire walk was ready for everybody, my first instinct was telling me: Dont do it, you will get burned! But were prepared and supported each other through the fire. Once I set my goal to walk on the fire walk it felt like I was walking on popcorn, but no pain or burn. Fire walking made me feel like I can walk down in any path in life now, it made me again realize that it was only my mind holding me back.

We proudly reflect back on these achievements to help maintain our mind set that we can accomplish anything. BreakThrough is one our life-changing experiences because it showed us that we can do anything if we believe in it.
