Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. Often, it includes eggs, bacon and cheese (doesn't that sound delicious?), which have healthy proteins to sustain us throughout the day. But did you know that you could actually buy your dog breakfast? We're not talking about a Sausage McMuffin here. There are now dog gourmet treats that are in the shape of bacon and eggs with flavors baked in. Dog food companies have now created canine cuisine comparable to a human's breakfast that contains real bacon, egg and cheese! Gourmet flavors include smoked bacon and egg, grilled steak and eggs as well as chicken and cheddar cheese souffl. Talk about delectable canine cuisine! We wonder if a dog knows the difference between breakfast and dinner. But many dog owners do feed their pooches twice a day breakfast and dinner so providing some flavor options actually makes sense. Even dogs get sick of eating the same thing day after day! Plus, if you have a dog that inhales his food without even chewing, feeding him twice a day is typically better because he'll eat smaller portions. But if you feed your dog once a day, then why not surprise him with breakfast or make the day really special by serving him breakfast in bed! Yes, dogs definitely have their likes and dislikes. Some will wolf down one type of food yet not touch another brand. But even if dogs don't really care what they eat, it makes us feel good that we can provide a scrumptious meal for them. They're who we come home to after a long day at work, the ones who cuddle with us when we're sad and who love us unconditionally. In fact, most dog owners view their pooches as members of the family, so choosing a canine cuisine that satisfies your dog's palette can definitely become a treat in itself.
