In fact, it may take several months, but until then, you should take some joy in your progress every day. You will start to feel better and your swelling should subside not long after the surgery. You should also be scheduled for at least one follow-up appointment with your doctor to ensure that everything is healing as it should. Within a few months, you should have the chest size that you desire.
