Trunnion Mounted Ball Valves:

This valve has additional mechanical anchoring of ball at top as well bottom. It is suitable for large and high pressure valves. This design of valve provides automatic relief of cavity overpressure. These valves are available with soft as well as metal seats designed for either high temperature or cryogenic service.

Floating Ball Valves:

A floating ball valve is one where the ball is not held by Trunnion. They are available both with soft and metal seat, 3-way designs and jacketed body designs. They are designed either for high temperature or cryogenic service.
