I have been married in Brisbane, but also I have seen many wedding locations. I work with many wedding suppliers, including my wife who is a florist. So I have seen quite a few locations in Brisbane and here is my list of recommended locations
Brisbane Botanic Gardens
Right in the middle of Brisbane, this is an ideal location if you want to have a central location. Parking can be an issue, so taxis are recommended for your guests. There are many sights available. I was married here with delmar as my wedding celebrant.
Victoria Park Golf Course
With views over the city and golf course, you can have your ceremony and reception in the one place. And if you are looking for wedding flowers then Bouquets with Bling can help you as they specialise in settting up here.
Newstead Park
Located looking over the brisbane river this is a fantastic place to get married. But book early, it books out fast. Contact the Brisbane City Council.
Ocean View Estates and Winery
Set on a beautiful winery this is a place away from the hustle and bustle of life.
Roma Street Parklands
An obvious choice, with manicured gardens and many different themed areas. If you don't have your ceremony here, at least consider your photos.
Mount Cootha
At the top of mount cootha you can see all of Brisbane. An ideal location.
