Bubba Watson: A Man Of Substance And One Heck Of A Golfer!

Do you know who Bubba Watson is? The man originally from Florida with the southern

drawl who was seen with no shirt, without shoes and wearing only overalls in the "golf boys" infamous internet video. The guy who bought the "General Lee" from the 1970s hit show Dukes of Hazzard. The guy with the pink golf club, who can whack it longer distances than anyone else on tour. Or the golfer with the imagination and talent to smash a hook shot off the pine straw and below tree branches and manage to get it on the green! The dude who was quoted that the shot was "pretty easy!" The dude who has never taken a golf lesson and is known for explaining "if I have a swing, I have a shot, and I hit the shot I see in my head."

Currently he's the latest guy to win the Masters tournament in Augusta. Watson mentioned that he was nervous at every swing, approach and putt on the last round and during the entire playoff. But as he was strolling to get his golf ball somewhere in the wooded area, he knew he would be able to get it on the green, and he took his swing. He knew his opponent hadnt made it to the green yet, but he didn't play it safe anyway. He won the Masters in his own way with what is being called "Bubba golf." And Watson received his award in his own way, with modesty, sentiment, and thanking everyone around him, including the locker room attendants. This amazing golfer has big plans for his accomplishments.

In the words of Bubba, it is "the stuff off the golf course" that makes it all worth it. With his notoriety now marked down in history and his new green jacket, it appears that he pretty much views his accomplishment as merely a means to an end. He has a enthusiasm for helping children. At the tournament he donned all white to raise knowledge for kids born with problems who need plastic surgery. He hosts two youth tournaments in trying to promote children to learn the sport of golf and give them some positivity both while playing the game and while on their own time. Because Bubba has has enjoyed the sport his entire life and played it well, he's now able and looking to do good around the globe, having nothing to do with golf.
