This means you can see what the person using the computer is saying in chats and emails, which programs they're using and how they're using them, or if they're looking at websites or downloading files that they shouldn't be.

SpyBuddy Keylogger will report changes that were made to the computer's hard drive to see if folders were added or deleted, and which files have been removed. It can take screenshots at regular intervals to show visually what the person was looking at. The program will also block certain websites and programs that one does not want the user to access.

While the program may be used for reasons of safety or productivity it could also be used for unethical reasons such as spying on a significant other or trying to find out sensitive information like passwords, bank accounts or social security numbers. If you think a computer you're using may have SpyBuddy Keylogger installed on it you should run a thorough, trusted spyware detector in order to remove it.

If you are concerned about your information being taken by someone through a program like this it may be best to avoid viewing or typing that information on any computer that other people have access to such as stations in public libraries or internet cafes. If you do find a file on your own computer called "spybuddy.exe" that does not necessarily mean the program is installed. This can also likely be a trojan horse, which masquerades as another program in order to gain access. Again, running antivirus or spyware detection software will remove this file from your computer and protect your information.
