Building Muscle Mass Without Using Weights
There are many different ways and approaches for building big, solid muscle mass. Lifting Weights is just one of them. But you most probably have to depend on a gym and you will have to pay the monthly fees. It might be too time consuming for you or maybe you don't have a gym close to your home. There could be many factors that don't allow you to join a gym and mybe you don't even want to and buying weights is not a good alternative either because you will have to buy new weights each time you hit a limit.
Now you might be thinking this would be the same case for bodyweight exercise but it isn't. Push Ups for example can be very effective if done correctly.
Now I will give you 3 tips for Building Muscle Mass without using weights and how to ensure that even simple exercises like push ups become very effective:
1. Make sure you work out regularly. I know it's a very simple tip but many people just don't work out consistently. The take breaks of 1 week and then wonder why they don't gain any muscle mass. My tip is to train at least 3 times a week. However its ok to take a couple days off if you feel very sore. You should not overtrain, especially in the beginning. So start out slow and once you are used to working out increase the days so that you will eventually end up training 3 times a week.
2. Make it difficult! Doing just one kind of exercise is not very effective. Push-ups, Dips, Squats, Sit-ups and Pull ups are fine in the beginning but once you can do 15-20 reps and you think that it is just too easy then don't quit but instead just find a new and more difficult variation of the exercise. Lets take push ups as an example: you can do close handed push ups or you could put your hands very far apart and that alone will make harder. But there are tons of different kind of push-ups so just be creative and search for them. And you can apply this to any exercise.
3. Focus on your goal. Don't give up! I know it's hard and in the beginning you wont have much drive but once you see the results, believe me, you don't want to quit and you will find a new kind of drive and you want to work out even more. Take before and after pictures to make sure you see the results. It is better to look at a picture than looking in the mirror everyday. You'll see the results much better on a picture.
These Tips helped me al lot and I gained a lot of muscle mass at home by using these simple techniques.
