Building a Blog Strategy to Get More Traffic

While many experts tell you about different tips to increase traffic to your website, I am going to tell you a way that can get more traffic to your website than ever before. You must have read a few articles containing the word Blog Strategy in them. Let me just briefly explain what a blog strategy is. Blog strategy is basically the medium through which you can make your blog successful. Now while some articles may brag by telling you different strategies to choose for your blog I am going to tell you how you can craft your very own blog strategy. Remember to get traffic you need to have the right blog strategy and you can make the right blog strategy if you can build it yourself. Nobody knows your blog better than you do!

When you are designing a blog strategy for yourself, you need to know about different components that are going to help you in creating a blog. To know about those components you need to complete the three pre-steps of making a blog:

Discover what your blog is actually about

Discover who are the real readers of your blog i.e. the actual target segment

Find out thorough information about your potential web traffic

After you are done with the above mentioned pre-steps, you can start making a blog strategy. How can you do that? It is very easy. I am going to share with you three components that will help you achieve that.

Component 1: Direct or Indirect Money: Figure whether you want to earn little directly through blogs, or earn more indirectly through blogs? While some people may not understand the importance of blog, I want you to know that earning money indirectly through blogs can be very beneficial. To develop a blog strategy you have to consider this component. Choose what you want to do because that is how you can figure out what strategy you can make. Earning direct money is going to be different than earning indirectly from your blog.

Component 2: The Vision. Trust me, without a vision there is no existence. If you want to increase traffic to your website through a blog strategy, you must have a vision. A vision will help you design your blog. Think of the vision as a ladder to your blog. Knowing what you want and how you want is what makes the difference. You get one of these things wrong and you end up in financial disaster.

Component 3: The Analysis. This component has two sub parts which are Pre-blog strategy Analysis and Post-blog strategy analysis. Analysis will help you forecast the impact of your strategy before the implementation and its actual impact. It will help you monitor where you went wrong in the strategy and then you can make the required changes accordingly.
