Bunk beds, popcorn and animation: the best Disney characters of all time pt 1
A list of some of the most controversial, funny
, charming, and goofy, Disney characters in the history of the franchise. Get the kids all settled in the
bunk beds, get the popcorn popping and get ready for the best Disney characters of all time: Goofy Goofys original concept name was Dippy Dawg and by looking at the characters droopy features and dumb, bewildered expressions, one can understand why he that original name was an early idea. But the name Goofy just seemed to sum up the style of the character in a much easier and simpler way. Hes a strange, dumb, awkward anthropomorphic dog, lets call him Goofy. Right on. More recent films have attempted to humanize Goofy, to give him an emotional side that would add to the emotional arc of the story, according to Kevin Lima, the director of A Goofy Movie. In that movie we learn that Goofy has a last name, Goof. So his full name is Goofy Goofnice job on adding some emotional heft to the story, Lima. We also learn that Goofy has a son named Max and a cat named Waffles. The status of Goofys wife and Maxs mother is never clarified, although he is portrayed as a single parent in A Goofy Movie and An Extremely Goofy Movie we never find out if he is divorced or widowed. Princess Jasmine There is a creepy contingent of male fans out there who find Princess Jasmine hot that is not why I am listing her in this article. Instead, I am listing Jasmine because she is one of the first and early Middle Eastern characters to be depicted in both a modern and traditional light, wearing a hijab head covering in Aladdin as well as formal bedlah outfits. In regards to her personality, she is noted for having a bottomless supply of willpower, and is very clever but can be extremely arrogant at times. In other words, she is a strong, headstrong woman who gets what she wants when she wants. Throughout history these types of strong women are often looked down upon by men who are intimidated by their personality and power, which is why Princess Jasmine is such a powerful and important character in the Disney franchise, and her appearance in more princess-related Disney media than any other character is proof of her popularity among many young girls in America and beyond.
