The modern CCTV system involves a linked system of cameras with full PTZ (or pan, tilt, and zoom) features able to be operated remotely from a control room.

Then you have your CS mount cameras " cameras which are installed inside a house. They are normally indoor cameras and they are not waterproof as their purpose is not to be used completely outdoors unless they are in a totally waterproof housing.
