The Chartered Management Institute - Summary
The Chartered Institute of Management (CMI) is the UK's only chartered professional body for management, which means that they can bestow the prestigious Chartered Manager status on their students. The CMI offers management qualifications from Team Leader level (Level 2) right through to Strategic Management level (Level 7).
CMI vs. ILM A Comparison
Both the CMI and the ILM have strong reputations and a strong educational background the CMI because of its Chartered status and the ILM because of its links with City and Guilds. This gives each institute a slightly different focus CMI qualifications are often viewed as being more academic' while ILM courses are often seen as being more vocational'.
