COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) is the association of Private Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The first step to appear for the exam is to fill up the COMEDK Application form 2011. Application forms are available on the official website and then students can send it to the office along with other documents.
The COMEDK Application Form 2011 has not been issued yet. Students who wish to appear for COMEDK PGET are advised to keep checking the website for availability of the forms. COMEDK forms are generally available in the first week of December. The exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on 13th February 2011. Students can submit the duly filled form along with other documents and Demand Draft by the end of December. Candidates should read the instructions for completing forms carefully. The instructions will be available on the official website. The application without the specified enclosures may be rejected. Students should send the following in addition to the application form:
Demand Draft drawn in favour of "COMEDK" payable at Bangalore. The students should mention the application number and applicant name on the back of Demand Draft.
Additional color photograph. Students should mention the application number on the back of the photograph. The candidate should provide a color Photograph (not Black and White) and clear and should not be more than 6 months old. The application with smudged or tampered photograph might be rejected.

Students should avoid stapling of Demand Draft and additional photograph to the application form. They can use clips instead.
The students can get admission in 21 different specializations of MS/MD, 12 diploma programs and 9 MDS programs through COMEDK. There is a lot of competition as many students appear for the exam. Students need to score high to get admission into the desired course. The entrance exam has 180 questions in all. Students are allotted 3 hours to complete the paper. The questions are objective type. Students are encouraged to guess the answers as there is no negative marking in the paper.
