Amazing golf tool - I've now got lengths I had never dreamed of. This is by fare the best buy I have ever done. The sound is a bit strange compared to my previous driver and at first i found the shape a bit disturbing - but it keeps its promis - straith and long - so who cares about looks and sound.
I cannot recommend this enough.
Model Reviewed:
Callaway FT-iQ 10 degree stiff
Summary:
I bought this club two weeks ago from golf shop because of the very low sales price since the iZ is coming out soon. I have been playing the FT-i for a couple of years, so thought I'd give this a try.
After a few trips to the range and a round of golfyesterday, it would appear this is a better club in every way over the FT-i. The sound is far better; much more like a normal titanium faced club and much less clang. It is at least as straight as its predecessor and much longer. The ball flight is lower and more penetrating (a huge bonus in Texas winds) and on average I hit it about 20-25 yards longer. I usually find Callaway shafts to be much whippier than other manufacturers, but this Mitsubishi Rayon is perfect for me (although why the ugly all-white colour?). The shape looks somehow more traditional at address...not sure why,
All in all, Callaway golf took a good club and improved it in every way.
