In 2010 China is poised to become the world's 2nd largest economy. In 2009 China leapfrogs the US to become the world's largest auto market and surpassed Germany to become the 3rd largest economy in the world. In 2008 Beijing opened 17 Five Star and 6 Six Star Hotels and China now has more internet users than any other country. China may invest 60 billion dollars to build 97 new Chinese airports by 2019.

The Beijing2008 Olympics so far were the largest in the history of the sport, with 4 billion people watching these games. They opened the door to tourism and will make China the no. 1 inbound travel destination within the next 3 years.

The Venetian Macau is now the largest Casino and 2nd largest building in the world. At their Grand Opening they had 500,000 visitors during the first week. There are 1 billion people within a 3 hour flight from Macau or 2 billion within a five hour flight. Macau will become one of the top three travel destinations in the World within the next three years. Also, gaming will double in Asia within five years.

In 2007 Miss PeoplesRepublicofChina was crowned Miss World 2007.

There are approximately 1.3 billion people living in China, a dynamic population with a culture of commerce. Three years ago, China joined the World Trade Organization and trade barriers began to diminish. China's large consumer population and recent reforms provide expanded opportunities to sell products & services in the Chinese markets. One of the key instruments to establish the contact to the consumers and manufacturers in China has been the internet.

China is rapidly demonstrating significant demand for consumer and corporate technology products. According to the China Industry update, it is projected by 2007 there will be over 500 million cell-phone users in China. The internet and personal computers play a major role in the development of the economy and in hundreds of millions of daily Chinese lives.

China's internet industry is booming. More than 22 million Chinese subscribed to internet access last year, bringing the total amount of Chinese on-line to over 80 million users. That makes China second only to the US in internet subscribers & conservative estimates project over 155 million Chinese on-line by 2006, easily overtaking the US. Incredible potential still exists in the internet technology sector when China's total population is considered.

China is now the United States largest trading partner, more than twice as large as Japan, which is ranked second.
