Firstly - Are you comfortable driving a motor home ? A coach built motor home is typically seven metres or so long, three metres or so tall and when fully laden can be around 4,000 kg in weight. A vehicle of such dimensions handles very differently than a regular car and has to be treated with much respect. A whole new set of problems are presented to the motor home driver, such as keeping a straight line when driving in high wind, watching out for low bridges, managing tight turns with a long overhang from the rear wheel to the back end of the vehicle etc. Also consider that your current driving license may not allow you to drive a motor home.

Secondly - Are you comfortable living in a small and confined space for a lengthy period ? This can be particularly challenging for some people or families. The weather has lot to do with it. If the weather is good, you will end up spending much time outdoor. If its wet you may be confined to the indoors. Fine for a couple with some good reading material. This can be tough work if you are entertaining a young family - you tend to get good at monopoly and snap.
